CODE OF CONDUCT
Conference Code of Conduct
All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at ReactiveConf are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help in ensuring a safe environment for everybody.
Conference organizers are happy to help if you feel harassed, unsafe or unwelcome, or if you can observe any misconduct that violates Code of Conduct. Please report such behavior through channels mentioned above or personally by reaching one of the organizers. These can be easily identified during the event as they’ll be wearing branded clothing and/or badges.
Purpose of this document
ReactiveConf aims to be a creative and welcoming space for everyone. We would like to connect the community across the world. And definitely not to split it.
ReactiveConf is a place that creates an inspirational environment which attracts new talent and supports knowledge sharing.
Where senior developers can find new inspiration. Where you can find a new friend and some new mind-blowing ideas.
Our vision is to create a universe where all participants feel a safe community spirit, where they can share knowledge, learn new things, gain new friendships and enjoy their time.
That’s why ReactiveConf is dedicated to provide a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.
We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, derogatory language and unwelcome sexual attention.
Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.
We make our best to give equal opportunity to everyone. One of the aims we have is to give voice to the speakers from under-represented groups and increase our quality through the new perspectives and insights. So please, recommend the best speakers you know of -even if they’re not widely known yet -and we will make sure to take care of them as best we can.
We believe in common sense. We believe that none of our attendees, speakers, partners, organizers or volunteers don’t want to take advantage of others.
Everything we do is done with only best intentions, to the best of our beliefs.
